| Turns out that everybody wants to gawk through the fence at the National Diet Building. It didn't take too long for me to realize we weren't talking about nutrition. But, the local japanese couldn't explain it to me --- why was the Diet building connected to congress? It took 3 days to find somebody who could tell me that "Diet" in Japanese effectively means congress. |
